Evergreen Backcountry Guides, based in Hakuba, Japan, are a ski guiding company known for their expertise in backcountry adventures and avalanche safety education. To celebrate their 25th anniversary, I partnered with them to create an engaging showcase video highlighting the beauty and excitement of backcountry skiing in the Hakuba region. The video was designed not only to promote their services but also to help raise continued awareness around avalanche safety.
In addition to my work with Evergreen Backcountry Guides, I also collaborated with the Evergreen Alpine Academy, which trains ski and snowboard instructors to achieve their Level 1, 2, and 3 certifications. I was tasked with documenting the instructor courses, capturing the energy and progression of the trainees as they developed their teaching skills. The content was used to promote the Academy’s programs and give prospective students an inside look at what to expect from the training experience.
